What Are Bi-folding Window?
As the name suggests a bifold window works in the same way as a bifold door, folding in a concertina style, stacking back to one wall, leaving a clear opening. Featuring the stylish contemporary Smart Visofold 1000 profile, the double glazed bifold windows fold away neatly with ease to maximise the ventilation and natural light, allowing for uninterrupted views of the outdoor space. The bifold works very well as a kind of “servery” window between the kitchen and the outside living area. Great for that alfresco dining!
The bifold feature operates on an exceptional opening mechanism that guarantees high performance and offers a range of opening configurations. The sashes can fold internally or externally and can accommodate a single window opening as well as allowing all sashes to fully fold back to open the entire space.
Security is also paramount and this design comes with an internal fully locking handle and double glazed toughened glass as standard.
